Terra Firma Ireland COVID19 policy statement

Our promise:

We are delighted to have received the Fáilte Ireland Safety Charter seal of approval and continue to provide a safe environment for our customers’ enjoyment and peace of mind.

We will carry out additional cleaning and disinfection of our vehicle in between passenger transfers and our guides will have hand sanitisers available to guests.

We have always worked with small groups to be kinder to our environment, however, we will limit our capacity further to allow for best practice in social distancing during any indoor events we manage.

Training:

In addition to the above Safety Charter, we have undertaken several training programmes in relation to new COVID19 protocols/procedures, and updated our operating and safety statement accordingly.

Our staff have attended numerous training and webinar updates from governing bodies such as Mountaineering Ireland, Leave No Trace, Ireland’s Association for Adventure Tourism, Chambers of Commerce, Mountain Training UK and Fáilte Ireland.  As a small provider we have found ourselves caught between numerous legislative and insurance issues, however, we now feel ready to return to business and thank you for your patience.

Please take note of our recent changes to bookings and activity procedures

  1. Pre Booking – all activities must be pre-booked with us in advance.  Bookings can be made by email or phone or as indicated on scheduled events.

  2. We regret we cannot accept bookings from visitors who have entered the country within 14 days prior to our activity/tour.

  3. All customers will be asked to complete a health form and waiver in relation to Covid19 declaration with details that may be used for contact tracing if necessary.

  4. Online payment / contactless payment is preferred.

  5. Please arrive early so that new procedures may be undertaken and we gently request your patience to allow for these adjustments.

  6. We kindly ask clients to bring their own facemasks (gloves optional) and to follow protocols of hand sanitisation and personal etiquette for the duration of the tour/experience as directed by our guide.

  7. We will observe social distancing on all our outdoor activities – in some cases this may add time delays to the experience.

  8. Where we provide transport, PPE must be worn and protocols observed as directed by our driver/guide.

We hope all our customers and guests will remain safe and stay well.
